The Fathers of Mercy have been blessed to grow steadily over the years. This growth continues through vocations and our upcoming building projects. We are in the midst of a three-phase building project. It is our hope to update the necessary buildings on our property (Phase 1 & 2), as well as prepare to develop a new seminarians’ residence (a companion building to the priest residence – Phase 3).

To Build New Multi-Purpose Facility…
Fathers of Mercy to Enact “Matching Fund” Capital Campaign!
With praise and thanksgiving to Almighty God, the Fathers of Mercy are pleased to announce that our community will officially kick-off a matching fund capital campaign in October 2018 for the construction of a new multi-purpose building with gymnasium and outdoor pavilion.
That’s right – a “matching fund” capital campaign! Through the generous charity of an anonymous donor, each donation given to this project will be matched dollar-for-dollar, thus doubling its amount. So, imagine: your $100 donation actually raises $200; your $5,000 donation actually raises $10,000; your $25,000 donation actually raises $50,000. In October, we Fathers of Mercy will provide a special mailer to all on our Novena mailing list that will describe in greater detail this multi-purpose building along with its architectural rendering.
As stated above, the multi-purpose facility will house a gymnasium and outdoor pavilion. Together, these indoor and outdoor areas will help us accommodate our big events such as ordinations, conferences, and various community activities. The pavilion will also serve a very practical purpose of helping to protect our fleet of 30-plus vehicles from inclement weather, such as hailstorms. Features in the gymnasium will include a basketball and volleyball court as well as a full kitchen with dining area. This multi-purpose facility is also being constructed with a view in mind to one day house our own seminary, including a student dormitory, that we will be raising money for in the future. Seminarians living in that future dormitory would use the multi-purpose facility’s kitchen and dining area.
Please keep this matching fund capital campaign in your prayers, that it may bring this building to its completion. We place this entire campaign under the patronage of good St. Joseph, the Guardian of the Redeemer and just man and carpenter. We Fathers of Mercy thank you in advance for your generosity toward this important project and ask you to “be on the lookout” for our October 2018 mailer explaining it all in greater detail. God reward you!
If anyone would like to discuss our matching fund capital campaign in greater detail before the October mailer, or give an early donation to it, please contact our Capital Campaign Committee Chairman, Fr. Ricardo Pineda, CPM at firstname.lastname@example.org .
