WHO ARE THE FATHERS OF MERCY?

The Fathers of Mercy is a Roman Catholic Congregation of Priests whose primary Apostolate is preaching parish missions and retreats, with an emphasis on the Sacraments of the Holy Eucharist and Confession.

OUR APOSTOLATE

We seek to bring the Mercy of God to the prodigal children of our times through the preaching of parish missions and retreats.

OUR CHARISM

We stand in the Church as dispensers of God’s Mercy in the apostolate committed to us. The image of the Merciful Father and Prodigal Son is the symbol of our Charism.

OUR HISTORY

In the wake of the French Revolution in Paris, our founder was called upon to form the Missionaries of France to re-evangelize and propagate the Faith.

OUR WORK

Parish Missions & Retreats

Our parish missions are conducted at the invitation of the pastor or the bishop. The purpose of a mission is to assist the pastor in his ministry by our conferences, administration of the sacraments, and preaching the Word of God to the people of the parish.
