Fr. David Wilton
About Fr. David Wilton
Fr. David Wilton is a native of Natural Bridge, New York. He became a member of the Congregation of the Fathers of Mercy in 1985 and was ordained to the priesthood in 1993. He is a 1989 graduate of Christendom College in Front Royal, Virginia where he studied philosophy. He studied theology at Holy Apostles Seminary in Cromwell, Connecticut. In 2009, Fr. David was elected Superior General of the Congregation of the Fathers of Mercy.
During the parish mission, Fr. David will encourage and challenge the parish community to make a stronger, deeper personal commitment to Christ and to His Church. Among the topics he will normally speak on are:
- The reality of personal sin and the need for repentance
- The Holy Eucharist
- The Blessed Virgin Mary
- The power of prayer
- The Ten Commandments
- Marriage and family life
- The Catholic Church
